Where is a feeling of impending change and challenge everywhere. An intensification of light and dark pulls the covers off our delusions, allowing the recognition of patterns that run our life. This no frills movement allows us to see what is important and recognize what motivates us to change. We can shift our awareness through suffering or through creative alignment. That is our choice. Underlying motives reveal themselves, whether based in love or disruption. Whatever our intention, the consequence will boomerang back, intensified. The ultimate purpose of this revealing process is to bring us into the heart, which integrates the personality with spirit. A little light goes a long way! We are being gifted with opportunities that have not been available for a long time.

There can be no progress without a deep understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and knowledge of your core patterns. So take a clear long look at what you are reacting to and accept this as a training. Acknowledge your strengths and where your life is working. Listen to your heart and tell the truth with compassion. Remember that no amount of blaming others will set you free. You will not be allowed the luxury of illusion.

The future depends on your ability to see through darkness, to utilize your strengths and to allow truth to set you free.

The focus of this year is to awaken your essential nature, lead from strength and find the unity consciousness that resides in the heart. Your alignment to the heart will be your greatest teacher. The ultimate ruling power on this planet is love. It shows itself through compassion, beauty and truth. It is within our basic nature to love. We crave to contribute through our creative expression. As we take residence in the heart, the power of love works as a purification agent, revealing where we have betrayed our deeper self and sacrificed love for power. Dark shadow figures of the abandoned self will make themselves obvious, asking to be recognized and their truth revealed. Through ignorance of our power, the lost self turned dark. With courage, we have to face the misunderstandings of these sensitive aspects. This may be scary but it is the way to liberation.

Here is how it works.

Our hidden and wounded aspects can no longer be ignored or cut off. We need the power they hold. This is why they are being intensified. They will fester and infect our consciousness if we do not attend to them. They voice themselves as destructive anger, apathy, raging torrents, numbness and emptiness. This is our shadow side. If we welcome it as our dark teacher, rather than our enemy, we hear its deeper message. The dark side of our nature is very potent. This energy is needed, not to be acted out but restored, purified and empowered to hold truth in a new way. Otherwise, these dark agreements become inner terrorists, generating fear and destruction. Which law do we choose to live by - hurt through wounded pay-backs or alignment with truth?

If we are not willing to negotiate with these disablements, a separation takes place between our feeling space and our mental body. Then we project the disowned feelings into the world and are aggravated when we witness these qualities in others. The more we judge, the more we imprison our nature. The darkness and light, the bogey man and savior, both show themselves “out there” as we try to control and manage our feelings through others. The conflict comes from the dance of the polarized aspects of self. We magnetize situations and people to demonstrate this dance of conflict and expose the feelings we have been unwilling to feel. Seeing the internal pattern more clearly can be a tool of liberation, if used correctly. By recognizing the truth and taking responsibility for our part in the situation, we own the unconscious projections. If we do not face this conflict inside, it will continue to recreate itself until we reach internal resolution. Our work is to restructure the underlying beliefs that fostered the disowned self and own the feelings. Only then can we learn to live in heart centered unified awareness.

As tests of character come, our heart advises the personality how to resolve its fear and separation.

We learn to feel the truth, get out of our heads and be accountable for both our light and dark aspects. We stop believing our fear and take responsibility for our weakness and sensitivity. This allows us to see how we lose our essential self. We learn to recognize our delusions without acting on them and take care of our weaknesses rather than condemning them.

We become more authentic and trustworthy in our power simply by expressing deeper feelings.

Other people sense this. Ownership of our spiritual nature allows us to speak from our center, which gives our words power. We are far more capable than we realize. We know we are complete with a pattern when we are truly grateful for the experience.

Projection, an instrument of awakening, works like a mirror, reflecting all aspects of the self.

The content comes from our belief system, based on what we hold to be true. What we believe becomes our perception and our subjective experience. These commanding beliefs provide the operating manual for our personality, defining what is real, true and important in the moment. Our subconscious reacts to these command statements as if they are principles of truth, whether true or not. We are like children, following the parent’s law.

Reality statements are impressed on our soul from past lives, from our parents and the culture we are born into. As we learned to think and reason, we used these assumptions of reality as our foundation. When we ventured from home base, we discovered that what we held as real was at best an opinion and not absolute truth. Realizing this, we saw the need to cast off the bias beliefs that formed us. We had to learn to be true to ourselves and recognize right action. If the adopted beliefs were against our basic nature, then the power they held distorted our personality. We were not capable of being true to ourselves.

In the changing of this era, our evolution asks that we examine these operating systems and consciously choose principles that empower love. This is the required homework for the entire world right now. The work ahead is to make sure that the principles we live by, our chosen reality code, is real and true to our deeper self.

We will not be allowed to live in surface realities. This intensification process will show us what is ruling our life. If we are expressing our creativity and exploring our own inner nature, then this journey is fairly clear. Any place that we are not aligned will reactivate our abandoned aspects. The return of the darkness forces us to do reality checks and find the path of truth. The principles we choose to align ourselves with must serve our deepest needs and fuel our courage to change.

We may feel that we do not know how to be true to our essential nature.

Inwardly we may be confused, searching for someone to tell us what is right or save us from pain and hurt. Our true nature lives in our heart, in our spirit. The inner conflicts of darkness and light are actually trying to awaken us. Until we understand the mechanics of this process, we lose too much energy in our internal struggle to set ourselves free. To make real change takes focus, alignment, discipline and empowerment.

We can choose universal principles such as love, truth or compassion and infuse these qualities into our being. As we commit to these powers, they provide these qualities into our nature. Remember, whatever principle is empowered reflects as a mirror. As we penetrate the wisdom of divine reflection, it makes our world a wonder and a joy of expression, with depth and empowerment from all aspects of self. Alignment gives us the strength of our spirit.

It takes incredible courage to embrace awareness and express true spiritual power. We are being called by the Power of the Word to build a unified consciousness by using principles of light.

This year, our learning will center on how to stay united in the heart. We will be inspired by visions that come from our Soul. Truth and compassion are essential in the world right now. This awakening allows us to live with passion and discover the true meaning of love. The journey of the soul is moving to a new chapter. The heart is aligning with divine principles. This creates a joining of light and dark, of power and perfection, of inspiration and application.

This is the gift of grace.
