We all have a range of emotions that feel safe, that help us identify our sense of self. At times, we can feel something so strongly that we become absorbed. We think we are that feeling. This absorption can be delightful or frightening, depending on the content. Craving good feelings can be a major empowerment for growth when used correctly. It provides the strength and desire for change. Our heart is here to support us, especially when we are in fear or anger, facing a hurt or injustice. Within the heart, we find our voice and establish a new sense of identity that is not so anchored in painful memories and knee-jerk reactions.
Our culture trains most of us to be afraid of our power, because we might hurt someone or color outside the lines. Most of us have not had effective emotional training until now. In this training, we learn how to be conscious in what we are feeling, becoming present within the emotional field, witnessing the fullness and emptiness, our seasons of change. We actively support whatever we feel in the power of compassion and truth. This allows us to increase our range of light and dark feelings, making it safe to feel, as we strengthen our nervous system and make more room to receive. It brings the right people to support our unfoldment.
