We are practicing Giving and Receiving, opening to our sacred side, to our not so sacred side, with patience and compassion. We are learning about mercy, where we accept that when we act from ignorance and have done harm, there is relief. The act of mercy is like super forgiveness. It releases our karma by penetrating to the core of our patterns with wisdom and grace.
From the esoteric side, when we are working with a pattern that is coming up, we pass through a gate in our throat chakra, governed by mercy and divine judgement. If we have not taken complete responsibility for our actions, we are bound to repeat, as a way of learning, the effect of our behavior. In divine judgement, we re-experience the pattern with more awareness. If we are clear and congruent, we can call for mercy. This gate acknowledges that we have penetrated the pattern and do not need to re-enact. We are released from cause and effect and we move into the light.
The act of mercy releases us from the pattern and allows us to be free.
